I am a private psychologist, Chartered and HCPC-Registered, with over 20 years’ experience providing psychological assessment and online therapy for adults across the UK. My work supports people facing a wide range of emotional, relational and behavioural difficulties, including trauma, anxiety, shame and long-standing patterns that affect confidence or relationships.
I tailor my therapeutic approach to each person’s needs, drawing on evidence-based models such as Schema Therapy, IFS Therapy (Internal Family Systems) and EMDR Therapy. I’m particularly known for helping people who find it hard to trust others or who have had difficult experiences with previous therapists or authority figures. My aim is to provide a safe, respectful space where you can explore what feels most important, work through challenges, and move towards a more authentic and fulfilling life.
I work in a non-judgemental and inclusive way, welcoming people of all races, cultures, genders, sexualities, life experiences and socioeconomic backgrounds. My practice is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves a safe and supportive space — all are genuinely welcome.
Below you can read more about how I work and the types of therapy I offer, or explore how psychological coaching or supervision might support your next steps.
As a private psychologist, I provide a limited number of psychological assessments to help clarify underlying patterns, identify specific diagnoses where appropriate, and guide effective therapy for adults across the UK.
My approach to therapy is integrative and evidence-based, drawing on a variety of methods to find what works best for each individual. Some clients prefer a particular model, while others value a more flexible style that adapts to their needs.
I offer a range of online therapies across the UK, including Schema Therapy, IFS Therapy (Internal Family Systems), Somatic IFS, EMDR Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). This breadth of expertise helps clients process trauma, manage emotions, break unhelpful patterns and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
When choosing a therapist, it’s important to find someone who feels right for you. The therapeutic relationship often matters as much as the techniques themselves — and it’s always okay to change therapists if the fit doesn’t feel right.
Below are some of the difficulties I commonly work with.

I work online with adults across the UK on a wide range of emotional, relational and behavioural difficulties. Below are some of the themes people most often bring to therapy.
Past experiences can leave deep emotional scars. Therapy offers a safe way to process what has happened and rebuild a sense of safety and control.
Our early environment shapes how we see ourselves and relate to others. Psychological therapy can help you understand how these patterns still influence your life today.
Anxiety and low mood can affect every area of life. Together we can explore underlying causes and develop practical ways to manage symptoms and restore balance.
Relationships shape who we are. Therapy can help you recognise repeating dynamics, strengthen boundaries and build healthier connections.
How we see ourselves affects how we live. Therapy can help you understand your inner critic, rebuild confidence and reconnect with your authentic self.
Major life changes often stir uncertainty, grief or self-doubt. Therapy provides space to reflect, adapt and move forward.
Losing someone close can be devastating. Therapy provides compassionate space to process loss and begin to rebuild life after bereavement.
Learning to manage emotions differently can reduce distress and improve relationships and daily life.
Sometimes the hardest step is recognising that our own behaviours may be holding us back or causing distress. Therapy offers a non-judgemental space to understand these patterns and make meaningful change.
I work with people who have a mental-health diagnosis, as well as those living with overlapping or long-standing difficulties.
Alongside private practice, my background includes over a decade working in forensic and NHS settings, supporting people with trauma, complex presentations and long-term psychological difficulties. This experience informs a compassionate, evidence-based approach grounded in depth and safety.
I use a range of evidence-based psychological therapies, including Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR, to support people with these challenges. You can read more about these therapeutic approaches in the section below.

As an integrative therapist, I draw on a wide range of evidence-based and specialist models. This means I tailor therapy to your needs rather than using a “one-size-fits-all” approach.
My core approaches — and the ones I most often integrate — are Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). These therapies are powerful because they are relational, trauma-informed, and parts-based.
I also integrate newer developments such as Somatic IFS and Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO). Somatic IFS combines parts work with body-based awareness to help release stress and trauma stored in the body. IFIO is an IFS-informed approach to relational patterns; I use this with individuals to help explore difficulties in close relationships.
Therapeutic models don’t sit in neat boxes, and many overlap. Below are some of the main approaches I draw from.
Exploring how past experiences, relationships, and different ‘parts’ of self shape your life today.
Evidence-based therapies that focus on changing unhelpful thought patterns, behaviours, and coping strategies.
Drawing on my forensic background, I also support people who want to understand and change problematic or unhelpful behaviours.
This includes offence-focused and risk-reduction work where appropriate, always within a compassionate, psychologically informed framework.
