Schema Therapy is a indepth approach I offer for clients who feel stuck in long-standing patterns — such as harsh self-criticism, people-pleasing, emotional shutdown or repeated relationship struggles. It helps make sense of why we react the way we do, often tracing back to unmet needs or early emotional experiences.
Through Schema Therapy, we explore deep-rooted beliefs and emotional “modes” that can drive patterns like abandonment fears, perfectionism, anger, shame or self-sabotage. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, Schema Therapy helps you understand the story beneath the struggle — so real change becomes possible.
I use Schema Therapy as a core framework and integrate it, where helpful, with approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR and other therapeutic methods developed over more than 20 years in practice. This creates a flexible, compassionate approach — not a rigid method — allowing us to work at your pace, with both emotional depth and practical tools.
We may use mode mapping, imagery rescripting or parts dialogue to help you build a stronger, more nurturing inner voice — one that can replace the inner critic with self-understanding.
Sessions are collaborative and focused on helping you understand yourself more deeply, build healthier boundaries and develop a more secure and compassionate inner base. Schema Therapy is not quick-fix work, but it can be profoundly transformative for those ready to understand and change long-held patterns.
