About Me
I am Dr Kerri Garbutt, a Chartered Psychologist, HCPC Registered Psychologist and Clinical Supervisor with over 20 years’ experience. 

I offer clinical supervision for therapists, counsellors and psychologists across the UK. I provide a safe, reflective space for professional growth and support with both straightforward and complex client work. 

I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR (with an attachment-focused approach), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic IFS, Schema Therapy, DBT, ACT, and Compassion Focused Therapy, to support supervisees from various therapeutic orientations.

My experience spans NHS, forensic and private practice settings, with particular expertise in complex presentations including trauma, personality disorder traits, neurodivergence, and long-term therapy. For the past several years, I have run a thriving private practice, giving me first-hand insight into the challenges and rewards of independent work.
